Software Developer/Engineer

Job description :

• Member of the PC products team that has the mission to develop speech recognition
and synthesis professional products on high level platforms (both for professional
users and end-users).
This includes :
- Development of new applications and modules on various OS (mainly Windows)
- Improvement of existing modules/products
- Integration of new technology coming from R&D group
- Integration of third party modules
- Packaging
- Customer support and training

Requirements :

• A degree (BSc or MSc) in computer science
• Experience : 2 – 5 Years
• C and C++ expertise
• Other programming languages (C#, Java, ...) and/or .NET development experience
would be helpful
• Interest/experience in standards used in the context of speech applications (SAPI,
XML, VoiceXML, SSML, MRCP, SIP, ...) is an asset
• Working knowledge of Windows and Linux (Mac OS X, Solaris, ... is an asset)
• Excellent communication skills to be able to communicate with customers
• Fluent in English
